Virgil Registration Authority Service
The Virgil Registration Authority (VRA) service is a dedicated service to authorize the Virgil Card creation with the
scope either 'global' or 'application' that is confirmed by a 3rd-party.
For the majority of cases, it's enough to communicate to the Virgil Cards Service directly, except for the creation of a Global Virgil Card. For a Global Virgil Card, it's necessary to conduct the verification step to prove that the client holds the identity.
Depending on which
identity_type is used for a Virgil Card, a client should either:
- Verify their identity using the Virgil Identity Service, and then pass the obtained
validation_token alongside Virgil Card data, to the VRA service.
- Or provide the valid sign of the Development Portal alongside Virgil Card data, to the VRA service.
The original information about the parameters in the request and in the response to endpoints can be found here.
